PageListSelectMultiple with additional search field?

Hi guys,

we are using the PageListSelectMultiple field on many pages to create links to related content. This works really fine for most of the items (I've filtered the Page field to only show items below a specific parent page).

Would it be possible to integrate an additional search field to the PageListSelectMultiple field? This would enable the author to quickly find content, even if it is older.

I think this feature could be interesting for other users as well.

Given that you are doing this, it sounds to me like you might be able to use this instead: http://modules.processwire.com/modules/inputfield-select-multiple-transfer/

The search works - my only beef is that it needs some CSS tweaking: https://github.com/ryancramerdesign/InputfieldSelectMultipleTransfer/issues/1

This would work fine for us – except that I like the layout of the current fieldtype, especially as it shows all the different folders of the articles (s. screenshot attached).
