  1. I love this theme. So far it's my favourite of the admin themes, with my slight variation in making it pink. I have one concern. I installed this admin theme early on in my experience with ProcessWire so I'm not 100% sure of what the default functionality is in some areas. I recently saw a video that Ryan had posted about adjusting column width. It appears that once you shrink columns they are supposed to float beside each other on the same line if they fit. This is what was apparent in the default admin theme in the video anyhow. In the theme I'm using, my pink version of your moderna admin theme, the shrunken checkbox columns clear to the next line. Is this supposed to happen? I noticed there are two options for checkboxes (single and multi) and I'm using several single ones. Then again, I modified the theme, but I only messed with colours. Anyway, here's a screenshot. Edit: Never mind about the issue reverting back to the previous theme (if you get instant updates). I probably deleted the required theme accidentally...
  2. I'm definitely with raydale on this one. I, too, anxiously await PayPal integration. I will be all up on it like a fat kid on cake. I'd be first in line like an Apple fanboy or fangirl at the new iPhone launch. If I had a genie in a magic lamp I would use my first wish on this. Well, you get it. I will definitely help with testing once PayPal is integrated! I don't want to start testing now and get excited about something that isn't a sure thing yet, but once it's there, you can count me in for testing!
  3. This tool looks great, I can't wait for it to be fully developed. I am looking to get started with e-commerce and would love to use ProcessWire because I love it, so this module seems ideal. I would be looking for Paypal integration—is this something that will be coming down the pipeline?
  4. Thank you very much for this, Ryan. I typed me.friendsdomain.com in my browser and it redirected to mydomain.com. I have Chrome and Firefox, which browser plugin do you suggest using to check the 301 redirect? Is there hidden information to check out using the plugin? And yes, my concern is with Google and having it show up properly. By SEO-friendly redirects making Google shy for a bit, do you mean that it will take a while for it to show up properly on Google (as mydomain.com)? I have been at this address for quite a while, yes.
  5. Hi there. I'm hosting my site on a friend's domain. In Google, when searching my site, it shows up as me.friendsdomain.com. I want it to show up as mydomain.com. Can I change this somehow using htaccess? If so, which parts of the file do I modify? Thanks.
  6. I finished uploading my site and the front page loads. Unfortunately I can't access the login page; I get a 500 Error. When installing it gave an error about Apache mod_rewrite, saying that it can't be detected, which says it sometimes occurs without the htaccess file. Also, none of the links work. Is there a problem with my web host? How can I solve this? Thanks.
  7. Thanks for developing this, Hani. This solved my problem. On another note, I wasn't able to figure out how to use the Radio inputfield. I first tried doing that but radio doesn't show up as an option for fields (though it shows up as an installed module).
  8. Hello everyone! I'm just about finished developing my site on my localhost (MAMP) with ProcessWire and I'm wondering what I need to do to migrate my site off my local server onto my hosted server. I want to make sure I know all the steps before I start in case I miss something. The database name has changed as the server automatically names databases and users—they differ from ones I've originally created—so I'll need to change any instances of the database name and user. I'm guessing I modify the config.php file to match the new credentials. Is that it? Are there anymore instances I need to worry about, e.g. in the SQL file? Other than modifying the config.php file, re-uploading all the files and importing the SQL file, is there anything that I'm missing? From what I've read in other posts, it seems that migrating ProcessWire should be easier than WordPress. I just wanted to confirm steps before I start in case I run into problems later on for doing it wrong now. Thank you for your help! Tina
  9. Thanks everyone for all of the explanations about MAMP. You've all been a great help, thanks!
  10. Yes, I think it's my setup. The error message was "Server error" in Google Chrome. It said it may have been configured incorrectly. I think you're right about the permissions issue. I wasn't sure how to modify the permissions but my computer has been running slowly. I did a disk repair and a restart and it's fine now. I'm using MAMP for local development and it usually prompts me for my password if I make changes to anything. Maybe I should've restarted MAMP? I'm not sure. Anyhow, I repaired my disk because there were errors and thus restarted my computer. Everything is fine now. Not sure what fixed it but I'm going to assume restarting MAMP helps. Thanks for your help. One more thing: Is there a way to give MAMP full administrative privileges so that it doesn't have to prompt me for my password in the case (like this one) where it doesn't? Thanks!
  11. Hi everyone. I'm trying to do the same thing on my localhost but it's not working for some reason. I had the install in a folder called processwire so I have to go to localhost/processwire to access it. I'm trying to move everything as mentioned to the root directory, which includes: .gitignore .htaccess index.php site (folder) wire (folder) I moved everything including the .htaccess file but when I navigate to localhost I get a server error. Am I missing something? I've included some screenshots. Thanks for your help. Everything works fine at localhost/processwire. Not working. Does having folders "images" and "fonts" affect this? Is there a better place for me to put these?
