  9. One suggestion: the forum threads linked in the post require not only for the viewer to be a forum member, but also to have enough number of posts to see them. That could make an impression of closeness of PW, while certainly that's not the case.
  10. I've made a module that's basically an editor for a certain type of templates, but with additional logic. To make things less confusing for the client I would like to keep it in the Page Tree - so, if the user clicks on the "edit" button the module page is displayed. Is that possible?

  16. That makes things clearer. Thanks a lot.
  17. I didn't have time to look into the code, so I have to ask here: is there a limit for the password length? I'm using LastPass and wherever it's possible I use ridiculously long passwords. And so I did in PW for an admin password. After a logout I couldn't log in again. I managed to do that only after setting the pass to something shorter than 50-chars. I see no reason why the passwords could have been limited (as they're hashed anyway), so that totally might be something on my end (or LastPass). But, just in case, I thought it's worth mentioning here as a potential issue.

  19. Everyone forgot to buy defenders this summer. It will either end with more of 6-3 results, or lots of bus-teams' wins.

  20. Our client wanted a site that would allow users to join a sport events (either free or for a small fee) and that would be easy and flexible for moderators. The final (well, there are some unpolished little things there - so let's call it a beta) effect is available to see here: http://www.meetspot.pl/ It was the first major project based on ProcessWire for us and it (PW) worked flawlessly. One thing I would like to see is a front-end user module ready from the get-go - while the API is super nice we spent a lot of time on reinventing the wheel: e-mail confirmations, captcha checks, Facebook integration, and so on. Maybe someday we will extract our code into separate module, but it's kind of tightly coupled to templates so it could be problematic. Other than that PW was perfect, and we felt we made the 100% right choice when we had chose it. API is very solid, and - besides aforementioned members managment - we only had to focus on major features (managing events, payments, cancellations). All the rest was already solved. There were a lot of third-party integrations (payment gate, Facebook, MapBox, SMS/text message integration) - and from the PW side everything went really smooth. Furthermore, the client is happy with the administrators' options. Actually, we even didn't had to explain things - the dashboard is so intuitive. Looking forward to Your feedback and opinions.

  23. Thanks a lot. I actually tried to do it this way but kept getting errors that arrays can not be converted to strings, etc. Most probably I had made some silly mistake somehwhere, now I can't reproduce it. It works flawlessly. To make this thread a bit more useful for others I'll share the "discovery" I've made while tinkering with selectors and pageArray fields: the requests could be nested, like that: $pages->find('template=x, pagearrayfield.pagearrayfieldNested.name=somethingsomething'); Probably a bit overhead for the database, but great feature nonetheless.
  24. It's saddening how people cheer for billion dollar company and not for the local folks, again and again. #uber

  25. Let's say I've got a template with a field of a Page type. This field is set to handle multiple options (PageArray). Now, I want to select all pages using this template, that have specific page set in the PageArray field. Basically, something like this: $pages->find('template=x pagearrayfield.contains=page1') Is this possible? Any hints? Thanks in advance.
