Can't acces other pages after install

I have installed processwire and the only thing that I can access now is the index page, this is what I have extracted from my apache log for the invalid request:

Only being able to access the homepage directly is most of the time a issue with the .htaccess. Try to comment out the RewriteBase statements in this file. Use "/" if processwire is in the root of your domain and "/subdirName/" if its in a subdirectory.

Ok, uncommented and completed the RewriteBase directive:

RewriteBase /home/developer/public_html/processwire/¬

And I still get 404, . Any other suggestions?
