I accept suggestions on the proper use of the Page Cache

I have developed a news portal (http://www.notiminuto.com), and has about a year online. It has more than 25K News and growing. In recent time I found that the Page Cache had about 24K files, and apart in logs / errors.txt have appeared many lines similar to this:

2015-02-07 21:49:36 guest http://www.notiminuto.com/noticia/cantaurenses-respaldaron-en-acto-masivo-a-.........-cabello/ Unable to create path: /.../www.notiminuto.com/web/content/site/assets/cache/Page/1/

2015-02-07 21:53:57 guest http://www.notiminuto.com/noticia/cantaurenses-respaldaron-en-acto-masivo-a-........-cabello/ DirectoryIterator::__construct(/.../www.notiminuto.com/web/content/site/assets/cache/Page/1/) [directoryiterator.--construct]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory

and sometimes like this:

2015-02-07 22:02:28 guest http://www.notiminuto.com/noticia/cantaurenses-respaldaron-en-acto-masivo-a-........-cabello/ Error: Maximum execution time of 50 seconds exceeded (line 178 of /.../www.notiminuto.com/web/content/wire/core/WireDatabasePDO.php)

With respect to the template of the news, Page Cache is set to 3600s, this because several widgets in these pages change over time.

The averages of Page Render times (according Piwik and Google Analytics) are higher than 2.6s

Some of the options that I thought are: load the contents of Widgets with AJAX, buy the ProCache, or both.

Before being attentive to your comments, I have to thank Ryan Cramer and development team for ProccessWire: a great and smart framework  :frantics:   :frantics:
