I stumbled about a little problem recently according to internal navigation. If I define an internal link via the "Insert Link" window I and rename the page I linked to afterwards the links gets broken. Wouldn't it be better to link to the page ID instead of the page name, so that the link will still work if you change the name of the page?

Christoph, that plugin formmailer referred to is the way to go for now, but I do plan to make it built-in in the near future.
