It could also be interesting to have the possibility to keep SQLite as a way to maintain yet another backup of what's on the MySQL database... What do you think about it? ryan Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 The main reason there isn't an SQLite option right now is because there is no fulltext index type in SQLite. This index type is really important for being able to search text-based fields using selectors. I think we'd be creating headaches for people, having alternate versions of the documentation to support database platforms that don't have this type of index. This is also the main reason why PW2 uses MyISAM rather than InnoDB in MySQL. That's a good question though, and I'm always going to be keeping an eye on ways we can expand the database platform support. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
