What does red banner in modules admin section mean?

What does this red banner in modules admin section mean?

This is the trouble module:

VKAPI.module

But I'm sure all correct... I see no reason to display error banner.

Help please.

P.S. Also I tried to publish this module to PW modules library but there're a lot of fields, and I stopped at "Enter forum topic for ur module" and "Enter github repo url". Why I can't just upload module? Checking versions via git is so good, but not in any situation.

I don't know really, but are short-open-tags allowed with your PHP-server?

You may try to start your file with <?php instead of <?

and you should enable debug in your site/config.php and see if you get more information. Also check your site/assets/logs/ folder for errors.txt

@rusjoan: that error message is a bit vague, but it means that the name of your module is invalid. This is where it originates from.

ProcessWire expects each module name to start with single letter (uppercase or lowercase), followed by one or more lowercase letters. Result of this is that "VkAPI", "Vkapi", "vkapi", "RusjoanVKAPI" etc. are valid names, while "VKAPI" is not.

I'd suggest renaming your module to comply with that requirement, as that's the easiest solution here.

Edit: for the record, I just submitted a pull request about adding a more descriptive error message.
