Problems with image uploads

I just had some problems replacing images. I deleted the old ones to upload some newer versions of those images with the same file name. But then the old images were restored instead of the new ones showing up.

Do I need to change the file name or is there an easier way of changing existing images?

I'm wondering if it was the browser cache? That's the only thing I can figure. Though i regularly use the same filenames and haven't run into that before, but will try here again. Are you using PW 2.0 or 2.1? And what web browser?

I'm on Chrome, Mac and I'm using PW 2.0.

It seems to be a cache problem. When I delete an img and than upload a new one, the admin shows the old version of the image. When refreshing the page, the new one appears. Weirdly it doesn't happen always …
