Jeroen Diderik
Hey all, I ran into an issue with a field that doesn't get saved when changing it if auto-join is set. I use the DEV branche and tested it on the standard profile with the summary field of a basic page. Not sure if this is introduced with a module that I added or that it also exists in a standard "clean" install. Can anybody reproduce this? Regards, Jeroen
Wanze
Hi jdiderik, I just tested with the latest dev here, summary field and autojoin set. My values got saved! Are you sure that saving other fields does work without problems? Any errors in the logs?
Jeroen Diderik
Hi, Yes, other fields save as expected, no errors. Forgot to mention, and just noticed it myself... It's a TextareaLanguage field. This actually causes the problem, since changing it back to default Textarea and it will save again. That narrows it down a bit... I'll see if I can debug some more. Wanze
Hmm I also have multilang support enabled using two languages for the summary field (TextareaLanguage field). Works too! I grabed the dev version today - in case you're using an older dev. Ryan does lots of commits lately
Jeroen Diderik
grabbed dev of today too after I found this issue,so no difference there... I only have one language currently setup. Cannot get my head around it just yet. I'll keep looking, later... gotta get some sleep now first, that sometimes helps too. And yes, Ryan is on a role
ryan
Testing here on a TextareaLanguage field, I also wasn't able to duplicate the issue. Do you have any other 3rd party modules installed? If we can't determine why it's exhibiting the behavior there, you probably just want to turn off autojoin for that particular field. There's not a lot of benefit to using autojoin, particularly on a multi-language Textarea field. On most of my sites, I only have 'title' autojoin.
