Show certain children pages in admin page view

I'd like to have a couple levels of pages open automatically in Admin > Pages, so I don't need to click through the same levels each time. I thought this might be happening in ProcessPageList.js (openPageIDs?), but that doesn't seem to work. Any pointers?
