  1. Yes, I've tried a lot of the tutorials. I know I've probably said this already, but I need tutorials that start with a blank page and show hand-ons from start to finish building a simple website. Tutorials that are just a discussion about features or how to do one specific thing will not do it for me. From planning to finished live site, then I see the process.
  2. I'm really having a hard time understanding ProcessWire. I should say all CMS's I've tried I have a problem with, so it's mostly my lack. There's tutorials saying a template and a template file is different and then there's like the bootstrap template (?) It's scrambling my brains. So if I stink at design I can't use a template or is that a css framework I need , or? Then there's someone out there trying to make analogies between OOP and PW which made no sense to me. Also, I've yet to see any diagrams showing how all the components ("components" in the generic sense please) relate to each other. Just venting about my apparent lack of ability to comprehend, I'll shutup now.
  3. Hi, Found a step-by-step hands-on tutorial (only way I can learn) wish there were more. Here: https://processwire.com/docs/tutorials/simple-website-tutorials/the-basic-website/page2 Maybe because of a version change I'm not seeing a setting called "Display Thumbnails in Page Editor". It's pictured in the tutorial but it's just not there in the actual admin page. Where is it? I'm using latest version of Processwire. Thanks for help.
  4. I just cannot find a step-by-step cookbook type tutorial for building a site from start to finish. Unfortunately that's how I learn and this type of tutorial is rare. It can be really simple.
  5. hi, Trying to learn processwire. Trying to find tutorials that are hands-on, cookbook type, were I actually do something. Most tuts are discussions and I only learn from doing. And, I don't know were to start, so hands-on is necessary for me. I found one so far, but I installed with something called "zurt" which I guess adds some kind of functionality. I need to get the default site which was offered during install. Is there a way to get default site that without reinstalling? Any recommendations for beginner hands-on tutorial with more than just describing processwire's nomenclature ...something ala "New Boston" would be appreciated. Thanks.
