  1. Hi Ryan You are right that the CMS itself is not the best place to be editing the code, but so many CMSs do it like this that this is what we initially expect. Maybe is just a thing of documenting / explaining a bit more how do you expect people to do in the guides. Thanks
  2. Hi, this is great, thank you a lot for this.
  3. Included files are fine. They work. But it could still be nice to have an explicit way of doing this by having something like snippets, chunks, blocks, partials or whatever name you like. Please consider something like this in the future.
  4. Thanks for the responses. I think that PW is a great CMS, it has a lot of good ideas. But I disagree on this. I don't think that creating a template for each specific need is a good solution. Let's say for example that a client want to have a page with some text at the top, then a dynamic list of pages and then some text on the bottom. If you could put some php code or tags directly on the body this could be easily achieved. But in PW this is not possible. I will have to create an specific template just for this page. At the end you end with lots of specific templates. I hope you see my point. Thanks
  5. Some way of creating reusable content that could be loaded from within a template or within a field in a page. The example site uses include files, but this is not very designer friendly. Something that can be edited in the admin site will be excellent. Another solution could being able to embed a template inside a template, maybe this can be done already but I haven't notice.
  6. I usually find that I need to put tags or php tags inside the content itself e.g. inside the body. For example if I want to show a list of pages in just a particular page. I don't want to do this in the template because is a one of thing. PW doesn't seem to be able to do this. Or does it? So I think it will be a great feature if the PW will be able to parse tags/php inside page fields.
  7. I agree on the idea of a template editor from the admin site. There are times when I need to make a quick change and cannot be bothered by using and FTP software for this. Just doing the change in the admin will be quicker.
