  3. I would like to build a Photo"community" system with Processwire for my wedding. I want it as simple as possible to collect the images of all the guests and distribute to. The idea is: All guests will receive a code with which they can log in. (like: D4gh7Stu) After Logging in, the Guest would like to complete an Profiel. (so everyone can see who has made the image) Then the guest can upload photos and schow the photos from all the other guests The guest can mark photos and download all the marked photos. I think processwire can do all this for me, but I do not know enough about the system that I could easily do so. About some ideas for implementing I would be very happy.
  4. Hi Pete, thanks for your fast answer. I have activate the comments module but i dont find any way to import the comments with my posts. My knowled about php is rudimental, but i'm currently learning it. I already accepted the problem with the user passwords. The same problem occured when changing from WordPress to Drupal. The users can creat and edit their own articles than the user send a request for publishing and one of the reviewer checks the article and communicate with the author over an note field. I found a solution by ryan: https://processwire.com/talk/topic/3987-cmscritic-development-case-study/?p=40168 But what is your solution for this problem? Hear is the link to my project: http://www.mta-r.de
  5. Hi, I read an article about Processwire in a Magazin and it sounds good. So i tested processwire and read a lot about it. Now I am sure that it is exactly what I was looking for my project. Currently, I use Drupal for my project, and before that I used WordPress. My Site has over 700 article and a lot of comments, other posttypes and (700) Users. Now my Problem is to migrate my Data from Drupal to Processwire. The articles were written by different users. The Comments were written by users and guasts. How can i Migrate my Porjekt without loosing to much information? I found this thread https://processwire.com/talk/topic/1015-switching-from-drupal-to-processwire/ but what is with the users and comments? A lot more thinks are not transfered (post date and auhtor). Thanks a lot for your help!
  6. Hi Ryan, i would like an alternative Spamprotection for the Commentfield. Akismat is expensive and criticle for german users. I use the Plugin Antispambee on my WordPress Blogs, which protects the comments very well! On my projekt i get more than 300 spam comments per day and not one gets published but the real comments are published without any effort on my part. Thats a great work and i found it is one of the best way to protect the comments from spam. All of this works without an external service like Akismet and without JavaScript. The Functions: trust authorized comments can trust comments with gravatar classify BBcode as spam validate the IP-Adress use regular expression use a locale spam database optional: can use a public spam database block or allow certain countries Allow comments only in one language Delete existing spam after X days delete immediately according to defined spam reasons all this is optional and can be activated by the user manually. Is there a API for the Comment Module to implement this functions?
