Hi @szabesz, thank you for your answer. With the article you linked I was able to define a hook in the admin file. With the hook I changed the output of the execute()-method in ProcessPageEditImageSelect and removed the elements making it possible to browse to other sites.

Hello everyone, I'm desperately searching for a way to restrict the selection of images, which a user can insert into the page using ckeditor. Basically it would be enough to find a way to remove the menu on top where you can browser to other pages and look for images there. I hope I'm just overlooking some kind of access settings.
