Custom admin tabs / pages

I'm wondering is it possible to have a custom page within the admin area?

For example i have a table in my database that's very specific in it's structure, so doesn't fit with Processwire's db structure.

I'd like to create a module that adds another area to the admin backend, that an admin can then click on (similar to the pages, modules, setup tabs) and then shows them a custom area for editing X or whatever.

Any help would be great.

What you are looking for is a Process module. There are lots of examples that you can use as a starting point - any module that adds a page under your Setup menu would be a good place to start.
