Hi All,

I've just noticed that the latest stable version has moved on to 2.4, when did that happen?, did I miss an announcement??

I'm too busy to download and take a look right now, is there a changelog anywhere that will inform us what to expect in the new version?, or maybe a forum post that I should check out?

cheers,

Martin.

I've just noticed that the latest stable version has moved on to 2.4

I downloaded and installed version 2.4 this morning. What I noticed during install is:

1. enhanced default admin theme (more easy for the eyes)

2. you can now select 4 different color themes: classic - warm - modern - futura

3. http host names. You can enter different host names there e.g. http://  -  www. - etc.

This field is recommended but not required. You can set this later by editing the file

/site/config.php (setting $config->httpHosts).

But this is only at first glance, there are many more upgrades done.

Version 2.4 is looking real good and has more modules in the core.

The admin backend is a real pleasure to work with to build your websites with.

A change log would be handy, I've upgraded one site and tweaked an admin theme, but it would good to know exactly what muscle we can flex under the hood.

Of course..:-)...that's why it is a soft launch...as Ryan sorts out stuff like writing the change log...that's one massive task! :-)
