Hide admin pages depending on the user.

Hello.

    I haven't developed a module yet but the time has come to get my hands dirty.

    I've been looking some modules ( PageListBetterLabels.module, PageListImageLabel.module) but couldn't figure out how to do what I need.

    As an example, I would like to hide all children from cities but berlin ( I'll have a user called berlin_mark and he'll be allowed to see just this page but not the other cities ).

----amsterdam

----new-york

----berlin

----london

--other-things

I'm not sure, but here's a try:

On line 40: is getting $page, from there you could handle your logic.

And if you decide to output nothing you could do a: $event->return = false;

Please correct me when I'm wrong.

First search result shows a thread, where you even liked my posts where I explain and show an example module of how it could be archived.

So there's no way to do it without a mean hack.

I'm still waiting for Ryan to implement something to make this easier and brought that up on github again.
