A little help about widget and sidebar

Hello,

I'm new from PW. I had seen it a few months ago, I had watched Ryan's video and... few months had passed !

So recently, I searched hours and hours on the web a better solution for my blog than Wordpress.
I had tried many CMS and suddenly I remembered : ProcessWire

So, I installed it few days ago with the fabulous Blog Profile module (thanks Ryan).
And now I want to add widget in my sidebar. I have searched on forum, in videos or tutorial, but I think I don't have made a good search.

I try myself but it doesn't work

So if someone would help me or send me some greats links, I think it will be top

There are many ways to include a widget area in processwire (just one reason why PW rules!). What kinda of widget are you wanting to include into your side bar? I would start off here and it will give you plenty of ideas. Also, look at the default website that comes with processwire when downloaded. It includes a sidebar area and can give you some ideas.

I have seen this post earlier and I post an help call in reply of google + widget, in my case it not appears as a widget in my sidebar.

I'm trying again to understand, but I'm waiting too a little help.

Hi elkolonel, I too am new to ProcessWire and saw the above posts and tutorial.

I'm wondering, did you ever get any help with this? i'm looking to do something similar with contact form as a widget.

You can make a simple contact form using either of these:

http://modules.processwire.com/modules/form-template-processor-mailer/

Or if you want something more powerful you should take a look at:

http://modules.processwire.com/modules/form-builder/

No matter which option you choose, it is easy to insert the form anywhere you want in your site.
