Have a look at https://github.com/processwire/processwire/blob/master/wire/modules/Fieldtype/FieldtypeComments/CommentFormCustom.php and https://github.com/processwire/processwire/blob/master/wire/modules/Fieldtype/FieldtypeComments/CommentListCustom.php The classes are well documented.
