Can you tell us the error ;)? Without the error message, it's quite hard :D

Are you transferring from Linux to Windows or MacOS? It looks like you have table names that are different in upper-/lowercasing but otherwise identical. MySQL makes distinctions there on Linux but treats upper and lower case the same on other OSes, depending on whether the underlying file system is case sensitive (here's some more information on that topic).

If that's the case, your best bet would probably be to do a selective database export and only export the tables that are all lowercase, then the import should run fine. There's a miniscule possibility that some valid data is contained in the uppercase tables, but I'd only start looking there if something is actually missing.

Best would be to check "Export tables as separate files", then you can select which table files to transfer (or extract from zip) to your local computer. Skip any tables with uppercase characters, then import the remaining (all lowercase) tables.

In any case, do not check the "IF NOT EXISTS" box or you might end with old or duplicate data in your tables.

If you're really importing into an empty database, this should have worked.

If you run the following statement in phpMyAdmin on your server, do you get any table names back?

/* Replace $YOUR-DATABASE-HERE$ with the real name of your database */
SELECT TABLE_NAME FROM information_schema.tables WHERE TABLE_SCHEMA = '$YOUR-DATABASE-HERE$' AND CAST(TABLE_NAME AS BINARY) RLIKE '[A-Z]';

Have you tried to check the "Add DROP TABLE / VIEW / PROCEDURE..." Option when exporting from phpMyAdmin?

EDIT: It is in your screenshot above under "Object Creation Options"

      Hello,
I need to import regularly - every 15 or 30 days - a big .xslx file into my PW installation.
This file now has 14 columns, 5.000 rows and grows every month.
I'll need to group, order and work with these data to:
analyse User monthly costs analyse User costs per Asset ... User (real AD account) has to match with a PW user - I can't join to the domain - but as you can see I have some services users (start with sca_*) or no user at all. Those rows have to be assigned to a specific user, e.g. account100.
      And:
I would like to be able to have a kind of diff function to compare User assets between this and last month (and so on) other request is to have a notification when something change for a User between actual and latest import First request: which is the best solution to store those data in your opinion? Page, Table, Repeater Matrix, ...?
Those are very repetitive data and I think a page reference is better than to import all the data every time but I have to understand how to manage those "dynamic" groups of software (AccType Det), hardware (Asset), ... For example Price will be imported and not stored with the description because it could be change in the future and I'll not have any control on it.
      Thanks!
      User,OE,productNmr,AccType1,AccType Det,Count,Price (€),Sum,ASNA,CC,AccType Info,Asset,AccGroup,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Is it by design that a site/ready.php is not included when creating a new site profile? Is it possible to include it with a hook? Or are there any security thoughts? (I don't want to redistribute it in public, it's just so I have my own boilerplate)

      Hello guys,
I'm trying to figure out how to sync fields and templates between staging and production environments.
I've found Migrations module by Lostkobrakai, but with use of it all the fields and templates must be created by API, which is kind of uncomfortable.
I also tried ProcessDatabaseBackups module which can export only certain tables, but I don't think it's the best practice to do that.
How do you guys solve this problem? It's very annoying to setup everything three times (dev, staging, production).
      Thanks a lot :)

      Hi everybody!
I have been reading about Multisite, but it kinda bugs me that every topic talks about having both admin and database same for multiple sites.
I have a project where customer tests it by adding content to the site, while I still need to do some changes here and there in code, maybe some in database. If something crashes for a while, customer can't keep testing, which is a bit problematic.
Is there any way that I could have two separate versions of one site ("production" and development) that share the same database, but are otherwise independent? Just the thought of having to migrate database every time I want to show client something new gives me anxiety 😁

      Hi!
After temporarily using Module Image Extra, which I completely removed, I had some troubles with my imagefield (unused table columns).
So I just imported a previous version of this column via PHPmyAdmin, which worked pretty well.
Anyways, in Processwire Backend all image tags are gone, although they are OK in the database.
Other image related things work (thumbnail, title etc are OK).
Is there any way to recreate all the images or something? Or may this be an cache-related issue?

      Thanks in advance 😃
