Still haven't resolved this issue
I thought I move my issue to a separate thread.
I'm in SnipWire/SnipCart test mode, SnipWire version 0.8.7, PW version 3.0.169
I'm struggling with the taxes, they just won't get applied to the products, what appears in the cart is always – all the way to the confirm order dialogue – without taxes.
Here's everything I'm working with:
Taxes Provider, I can choose between:
- Snipcart (no effect - I added additional taxes on snipcart.com which just won't appear)
- Integrated (SnipWire)
- "included in price" (no effect, checked or unchecked)
- "applies on shippings" (no effect, checked or unchecked)
So I selected Integrated (SnipWire). Then…
- Taxes Included in Prices (no effect, checked or unchecked)
- 10 % VAT, Shipping: unchecked
Shipping Taxes Handling
- No shipping taxes (for now)
SnipWire Webhooks Endpoint: /webhooks/snipcart (also added to the Snipcart dashboard like this: http://mywebshop/webhooks/snipcart)
- Product is taxable (no effect, checked or unchecked)
VAT (select field)
- 10% VAT (no effect, selected or not)
Ironically enough, I entered the products' gross prices yet in the cart their net prices appear.
click "Refresh" – no effect
prices are wrong here. I entered "," as a decimal seperator, now the prices are all hundredfold, i.e. 14,80 -> 1,480.00
- refreshed products - no effect
Also tried the usual suspects, deleting cache, incognito mode.
What else can I try? If I contact to snipcart.com, they always advise me to talk to the PW "SnipWire" module developer @Gadgetto
Announcing the current status, planned release, roadmap and preview of Padloper 2.
Finish work on admin/backend. Work on installer and uninstaller (including configurable availability of some features). Work on UI/UX improvements. Start work on documentation with special focus on technical documentation. Continue work on Padloper API and data/model component. Roadmap
Please note that these ARE NOT hard and fast targets. The roadmap may have to be adjusted to accommodate technical and non-technical constraints.
Inbuilt support for (latest) PayPal (full rewrite, no external modules required). Additional work on Padloper API. Invite a limited number of early alpha testers (fully-priced product). Soft and closed release of Padloper 2.
Start work on relaunch of Padloper website. Inbuilt support for Stripe (no external modules required). Future Plans
Support for more Payment Gateways. Support for order, customers, etc imports and exports. Support for AdminThemeReno and AdminThemeDefault. Separate fully-featured frontend shop module. Consider support for multiple currencies. FAQ
1. Have you abandoned this project?
2. When will Padloper 2 be released?
First early alpha release is scheduled for Q1 2021. This target may change depending on circumstances! Access will be by invite only for this first release.
3. What is the pricing model of Padloper 2?
Three licences: Single Site, Developer and Agency licences (12 months’ updates and VIP support).
4. How much will Padloper 2 Cost?
No price has been set yet. It will cost more than Padloper 1.
5. Can we upgrade from Padloper 1?
6. Will existing users of Padloper 1 get a discount for Padloper 2?
No, this will not be possible. Apologies for the earlier announcement. It was unrealistic and unworkable.
7. Can we pay for Padloper 2 in advance?
8. Does Padloper 2 render markup/templates in the frontend?
No. Access to all data you need to build your shop’s frontend is via the Padloper API.
9. Can we keep sending you ‘Are we there yet’ messages?
Here is a video preview of the current state of the backend/admin of Padloper 2. Please note the following:
This is early alpha. There are bugs! It even includes WIP/notes!! FOUC, misaligned things, etc. The video shows the near-raw implementation of Vuetify UI. The UI/UX improvements work is yet to start. What you see here is the development version. Some of the incomplete features may not be available in the early releases. Most of the features you see will be optional to install.
I get an "Undefined Variable" Error on a template for a variable that I declare on the _main.php template which is clearly included.
Some background: At the beginning I didn't have a _main.php template for that particular project because I started off with a different profile but all my other projects work that way so I just created one and yes also included it on the config.php…
$config->prependTemplateFile = '_init.php'; $config->appendTemplateFile = '_main.php'; $config->useMarkupRegions = true; $config->useFunctionsAPI = true; Might there be something that am I doing wrong or missing out on though?
Also, not sure if related, when I include "namespace ProcessWire" on the top of the template, cause I thought that might be the issue, it wouldn't know the functions like __() and _x(), you know, the ones to make strings multilingual.
Call to undefined function _x(), did you mean _()?
