  1. I have not found any topic to report issues on the processwire site and forum and/or make suggestions about them, so I made this one. If such a topic or branch already exists, it should be there. On PW site there is now Docs menu item instead of the API (as it used to be). But on the forum it is still API. They even lead to different pages. I guess this should be fixed.
  2. Hi, the AdminThemeReno has mysteriously disappeared from the admin. it is in the wire modules, and the database modules table, but absent from the modules listing.. it has basically vanished; I tried updating to the latest dev to see if that would fix it. The problem seems to have started when i went into Modules Manager and the version was older so there was a json error; then right after reloading the page, the theme flipped back to the regular theme, and then the reno disappeared..; i'm not completely sure if modules manager was the source of the issue; I'm guessing some database corruption? not sure where to start troubleshooting this, but would really appreciate any help or advice. What do most people do when you hit a 'dead-end' issue like this? Is there some way to check the database for some misconfiguration? Should i delete the modules entry in the DB? not sure if this is related, but if i uninstall the default theme, i get this error: Modules: Module 'AdminThemeReno' dependency not fulfilled for: AdminThemeDefault and also if i try to place the default admin theme module into the /site/modules/ then i flip back to the legacy admin, and there is an error asking which one, but if you click on that and go to the module settings, there actually isn't any option to specify which folder to use; it ends up using the site version.. also getting strange errors... 3. Hi folks, Not sure if there is a 'bug reports' list, but I was giving a tutorial/guide on the CMS for a client today and I came across two issues... 1. When inserting an image or link into a ckeditor field, I received some issues with it displaying any content. At the time I couldn't debug it to check if it was loading in the content via the Network tab in Chrome DevTools, but checking now it seems to be working okay. Different network now. Wasn't sure if it was worth bringing up? I tend to get a few buggy issues with this modal. 2. Also the modal has some slight CSS issues (see attached) with the vertical line. I managed to get rid of it by turning off the position: relative on .ui-dialog .ui-dialog-content and the height:auto on html.modal, body.modal but that seems weird so I wouldn't look too much into it... just a shout out. I am using PW 2.5.3 and Chrome 39.0.2171.95 – I am also on a retina MBP. Thanks and apologies if this is a bit tedious! R
  4. Hello. I'm starting a new project on Processwire 2.4. I'm experiencing some funky behavior, as follows: 1. I add a new custom field and save it. 2. Try to edit the field, and the "description" attribute is grayed out, and I can't add a description. I'm experiencing it with all field types. Has anyone else experienced this? I did some futzing around with the admin theme, trying to use the new "themes as modules" method, and I'm wondering if I screwed something up or if it is an actual bug in 2.4 A screenshot is below. This is after saving the field, and opening it up to edit. Thanks for any help, Will

    Windows 8 (or 7+)

Just wanted to share it with you... I bought a copy of Win8 three days ago not knowing what to expect. It turned out that it's not really as bad as it would seem. The system is faster then the original Win7 and the workspace (the desktop mode) doesn't differ much from the previous version. Till now it's stable. The only basic issue I've encoutered was the system upgrade from Win7 - many bugs appeard afterwards so I'd recommend installing Win8 from the scratch. Also it's better not to install free antivirus apps (avast for example) as the system crashes everytime it enters the Web. if you're using Win8 any tips would be welcome.
