  1. Just launched a new Processwire site, http://luxcommunications.ca Comments? Feedback? As always, if you find any bugs or problems please let me know.
  2. More and more, processwire has become my personal haven... I do almost no commercial work with it (I work as a dev, and for payed side-projects I suffer the dread of joomla droppings ) Made this "thing": - http://www.lisboncorrespondent.com/ This is a blog (of sorts) for my father, with make-pretend postcards sent from Portugal. It is essentially a way for me to experiment with and learn a few techs/tools: css 3d transforms (and respective headaches, cross-browser issues, etc) The wonderful angularJS framework Yeoman (build system for js apps, with grunt + bower) Processwire, of course Processwire is amazing for every crazy thing I may ever think up, and using it as a simple RESTy service provider is incredibly simple. Gotchas: This will most likely be a perma-beta site - it is for trying stuff No history back/forward or direct urls - angularJS makes it easy, but it wasn't really my concern. Will have to happen someday, though No SEO whatsoever - I'm perfectly aware that a "blog" in a one page app is a no-no, but again, just toying around Tested with Chrome, Firefox and IE 10, OSX and Win - further compatibility (and mobile) to come Hope you enjoy. And thank you, Ryan, for the wonderful gift of processwire
  3. My second PW site, theanodyne.com, features info for a local bar & pool hall and is designed to look like a vintage menu. They love how easy it is to update the site.
  4. Dear Ryan, Please accept my appreciation on the system that you have created. Processwire is amazing. We were planning to redesign and make our Film Magazine more attractive and easy to manage, especially as it was run by a very short staff. We had been lagging behind in deadlines with each issue. We started the process about 5 months ago, when I started searching for the most suitable system to trust the work to. I have been a wordpress developer for sometime, but I did not want to take that path, frankly very annoyed with the huge amount of mostly defunct and dead plugins and other things that makes it tedious to run a website for a developer ( those are just my thoughts ). The process was gradual, and I was tremendously impressed by the conciseness of the entire Processwire system and the support forums, suffice it to say that, I did not have to ask any questions in the forums to work things out, the answers were all there. This is the first forum post that I am writing and this is after the job has been completed. I invite the community and especially Ryan to please have a look at the Magazine, its available here: PROJECTORHEAD Although it is still a work in progress, but we feel glad to release the magazine with the new issue. The magazine has been in existence for more than 2 years and this is the ninth issue. The blog section on the website is still running wordpress. I would love to hear feedback about the website, both in terms of content and design, and ideas about making it more reader friendly. We present this magazine to the community. Thank you. 6. Hey guys, another green website from the processwire beginners based near munich. This website is our first REAL PW project - and (for us) one of the biggest sites we‘ve ever built. And actually the first one with a CMS/framework that we did totally on our own. So, don‘t be too negative - but don‘t be too positive either. http://www.roha-gmbh.de There are still many things that are not perfect yet, but since we started to design this website in 2011, it really was time to get it "into the wild" now! Many furniture manufacturers still haven‘t sent their best product images, so that is why there are still some lowres images in there. The project chapter needs some work on the photos as well, but that time will come... The site is not responsive yet, because it wasn‘t our main goal in 2011 - so we only wanted to get it working on tablets and phones, but without any special mobile styles. This will come, but that may take a while. The modules we used: - formbuilder - procache - redirects - versioncontrol - sitemapxml I‘m totally glad I found processwire a few months ago, because at first we planned to get that site done with pure static html. Which would not be TOO nice with about 80 html pages and many, many images (about 400). Finally a few "thank you"s to ryan, soma, diogo (for creating processwire and your help in this lovely forum) and to mademyday (for posting this on twitter, which made me read about processwire). Comments are welcome! Of course!
  7. Hi everyone, The new website of my company Omnitic is finally launched! Initially started in Wordpress, it was finally built on Processwire with Gumby Framework as i wanted a real use case to practice my "wiring". I must say that i'm pleased with the final result and how fast it was to get this up and running with Processwire. For a extra speed boost ProCache has also been used to make the overall experience as fast as possible : if you build website with Processwire and don't use this module, you're doing it wrong. There's still some tweaking to be done though (image optimization, some responsive issues to name a few) Regards and happy wiring. Nicolas
  8. Hello folks! I've been playing with ProcessWire a lot recently, and have just launched site number 3 - Bishop Auckland Table Tennis Club. Some of my family members are associated with or are members of the club, so this was a bit of a favour for them. I haven't used many "additional" modules - just CropImage and MapMarker.
  9. I've been really enjoying using Bohemian Coding's Sketch app for the past couple of months and recently I noticed their official user manual for Sketch is powered by ProcessWire! How cool is that?! http://www.bohemiancoding.com/sketch/help/

Hi Everyone! I'm glad to show you guys my first Processwire project: http://www.ihera.com.br/ It's a simple yet tailor made website I did for a clinic specialized in women health in Brazil. We've designed/coded several templates for the backend, used the Skeleton CSS Framework (http://www.getskeleton.com/) to help making it responsive adn some some minor javascript to some pages - and of course, made it very SEO friendly with custom titles and meta description for each page. I'd like to thank Ryan again for this amazing tool! I've never done such a tailor made CMS (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, CMS - I've been there) that's so easy to use that my client didn't need more than 10 minutes of "training" and is super happy about the outcome and the ease of maintaining it. Simple, amazing and beautiful. Best of all: the code is clean and since you code the templates from scratch, you know exactly what is what and speed and great clean markup is an obvious result of it... Let me know what you think! Tks a lot! jw
  11. Hi all, here it is the site we made for an european project with processwire! http://smartenergyproject.eu The project will continue for 2 years, and maybe will have 3 languages (EN, ITA, DEU), many editors, and maybe a linkedin integration so is a good start point to test all features of processwire! Alessio
  12. virgintribesa.com Created for Virgin South Africa Employee engagement - they're yet to have much content up there but the site is pretty much finished.
  13. Here is a recent site done in processwire: http://licoriceensemble.com/ modules used include formbuilder procache cropimage version control for text fields after save actions based on a template by the great team at Elemis.
  14. We've just launched a new company, early days and we needed to get a site out quickly. http://www.milktop.co.uk Still plenty of fiddling to be done and we're pretty busy on other work, just didn't want to be one of those web companies without their own site
  15. Hi this is my new onepager site for the thesouplibrary.com using: processwire jquery scrollto.js parallax.js
  16. Couple of recent sites I've created: http://www.theartofdining.co.uk/ - Pop up restaurant http://samhofman.co.uk/ - still life photographer
  17. Hi all, I've just come across this Twitter conversation: I'm sure this has been discussed before, but hey, don't you guys think it'd be a good idea to have a list featuring websites built with ProcessWire? I think this could be a great selling point, as people unfamiliar with the system could see, at a glance, the kind of results they can expect to get with PW. The Symphony project, for example, has done this beautifully. Well, let's see what you think!
  18. Hi, Here is another processwire powered site, completed recently. http://www.kapelis.com/ the way this is setup would not have been possible without processwire, which has made it easy and accessible for the client to update all aspects of the site without having to code or use a wysiwyg... -marc
  19. New site made with PW: http://yogacentergreenwich.com/ [edit - should have provided some details...] - formbuilder for contact form - image gallery pagination code from here - pw logo from here - ecwid for shopping cart - campaign monitor for the newsletter -marc
  20. Hi everyone, Just wanted to share this project I finished last month for a client. The design is not mine. I've implemented and converted the Illustrator mock-up into Processwire, and it went very well. There are some things regarding the design I would have change, but I could not go against the designer. Here's the link: http://www.setaiasia.com Special thanks to diogo, soma, yellowled for the support and, of course, Ryan for creating this wonderful tool.
  21. Here is a site I made for the Learning Center I do IT for. My goal was an interactive and responsive feel. Still to add some more media like pics and such, but it's the V1.0. The client is able to add new 'curriculums' and such through the admin gui by only typing a short description, and adding an icon image. http://www.i-workshop.com.cn/
