  1. I found the setting for this and turned it off: I get why they added it, but for some communities it makes more sense than others. Personally I think they could have added a setting to control the truncate length to be a "best of both worlds" but switching it off is fine for this forum.

  2. Ah, in that case, log in to the admin area of your site as a superuser and scroll down the page list until you find the "Trash" can... Now locate the page you deleted and hover over it. You should now see the restore option... Hope that helps.

  3. There is also https://processwire.com/store/pro-dev-tools/user-activity/ so given that, I don't see anything like it ending up in the core.

  4. @ryan - what about a dedicated "Skins" section - maybe within the modules directory. Perhaps the requirement for adding a skin to the directory would be to link to a Github repo with the admin.less and also an admin.png file which could be used on the skin's page in the directory. Ideally I think it would be nice if it was possible to view all skin screenshots via a gallery of thumbnails to make it easy to browse visually.

  5. I had some fun too. Created another theme/style based on default reno style but tried to add more contrast (WCAG AA). It's also more in blue tones (but I kept PW pinky color) to match our website color theme. There are also some other tweaks. admin.less

  6. PageListImageLabel Marty requested and sponsored a new module little while ago. http://processwire.c...t-image-option/ I just wanted to create a separate release thread. Many thanks to Marty for sponsoring and making this possible. This just shows how great this community is. So here it is the Page List Image Label module. It enables you to add thumbnails of images from the pages in the admin page tree. Download: http://modules.processwire.com/modules/page-list-image-label/ Github: https://github.com/somatonic/PageListImageLabel A screenshot of it in production. (old version)

  8. Hi horst, thanks for the feedback, and I'm please someone comprehended the copyright notice! I, as would others I'm sure, would be very thankful for a tutorial on creating watermarks via a hooked function or property.

  9. And perhaps an option for each user to select it's own skin/style/theme (whatever it's named) in his profile...

  10. Very nice module. It actually also works without a paid account using the free api. The only thing one needs to do is to change one line as the api endpoint is different. 500000 characters for free per month which should probably be enough for many applications. classes/DeepL.class.php: $reqUrl = "https://api-free.deepl.com/v2{$endpoint}?auth_key={$this->apiKey}"; I got a javascript error with the module though if I use a non-CK Editor text field (CK editor not found). The textarea field is in a repeater and I saw you fixed a bug related to this in the last release. Presumably the issues are related. I am on the latest PW dev 3.0.179 Uncaught ReferenceError: CKEDITOR is not defined at HTMLAnchorElement.<anonymous> (fluency.js:257)

  11. This module is 8 years old and it still works beautifully. Kudos Soma!

  12. Hi @antpre. Making the module permissions-aware may be possible, but it would be a bit tricky since it would involve hooking the markup for each of the inputfield option types and injecting a data attribute to signify whether the page is editable/addable. If I get some free time I will see if this is possible. This sounds like it would be an issue with any modal window in the back end. Unfortunately, iframes are basically unusable on iOS. On all of my sites that use iframe modals, I use browser detection to disable them on iOS.

  13. @rick, I'll need to build an account dashboard for the users but it would be front end. They need multiple subscriptions because it will be a subscription tied to a product. They can purchase multiple products and the subscriptions will belong to their serial numbers. Just like you would have multiple mobile phone subscriptions under your single user account, each with it's own billing date. But because of the nature of the service they don't want it to auto-renew, so if they don't renew manually, the service will lapse. With the same analogy, like a prepaid mobile phone. Coupon code: the product will come with a free membership for the first 1 2 or 5 years but it must not start until they register the serial number of the product. Also, the product user might be different than the one purchased it. Again, I can build it in Processwire I was just wondering if I could reuse something that's already done for parts of this process. There are many membership plugins for Wordpress but I try to avoid that trouble. There's nothing of this nature for Processwire, just like there's no complete ecommerce plugin (until Kongondo reveals his, at least). I just don't want to reinvent the wheel if someone has any pointers for something already in existence.

  14. Hi guys, I was very excited for this module, but my life took a huge direction change and I no longer have the time to invest in module development. I am gonna leave the files here. You guys can take it and run. Maybe there might be something useful here. Maybe not. I still think it's a good idea to do drag and drop modal building in PW. So hopefully one day something like that can come to light. I love this community and I love ProcessWire. Live long and prosper. - Joshua Designme 2.zip

  15. It works just fine on 3.x As far as I know, it's still the only option.

  16. Thanks for the report Joe. However it's not something I can reproduce. I can see how this would happen, but it shouldn't. if($page->template == 'admin') return; This is to prevent obfuscator to run in the admin at all, so it's not really possible that it happens to obfuscate emails in the admin. So hard to say why it happened on your side. But if it turns out to be a problem, we may look further.
