  1. https://www.baumrock.com/portfolio/individuelles-crm-und-controlling-tool/ I'm happy to share my biggest and most interesting ProcessWire project so far with you It's a 100% custom office-management solution that helps my client to keep track of all their contacts, projects and finance/controlling stuff. Conception was done back in 2016 and the software is productive since begin of this year. My client is very happy with the result and so am I. Some technical insights: Everything is done inside the PW Admin. I'm using the Reno Theme with some custom colors. In the beginning I was not sure if I should stay with the pw admin or build my own admin-framework but now I'm VERY happy that I went with PW Almost all of my custom Process Pages use my RockDatatables module - there are still some limitations but without it, this project would not have been possible For the charts I used Google Charts and chartjs - both play well together with the datatables and make it possible to display filtered data instantly: also my handsontable module was created for this project to have a nice and quick option for matrix data inputs: Lister and ListerPro were no options as i needed much more flexibility regarding data presentation (like colorization, filtering and building sums of selected rows): invoices are highly customisable as well and easy to create. PDFs are created by php and mPDF by the way: all data is dummy data populated via my Module RockDummyData have a nice weekend everybody

  2. This week: A hurricane, no electricity, a new version of ProcessWire on the dev branch, and a new version of ProDrafts that adds repeater support and workflow support. https://processwire.com/blog/posts/processwire-3.0.75-and-a-new-version-of-prodrafts/

  3. If possible, I would create a "group" for those active members who request more quota so that they can be assigned more. (This is theory, I do not know how the forum works...) I understand that 50MB x 5200 is already a lot and most of the forum members do not need it, but for those who contribute a lot, 50MB is not too much.

  4. thanks @AndZyk i removed one of my large screencasts and have now another 10MB left. but still i find that restriction VERY annoying and is imho not good for active forum members that contribute a lot. @Pete is there maybe an option to set a special limit per time period?

  6. Docs & Download: rockettpw/seo/markup-sitemap Modules Directory: MarkupSitemap Composer: rockett/sitemap ⚠️ NEW MAINTAINER NEEDED: Sitemap is in need of developer to take over the project. There are a few minor issues with it, but for the most part, most scenarios, it works, and it works well. However, I'm unable to commit to further development, and would appreciate it if someone could take it over. If you're interested, please send me a private message and we can take it from there. MarkupSitemap is essentially an upgrade to MarkupSitemapXML by Pete. It adds multi-language support using the built-in LanguageSupportPageNames. Where multi-language pages are available, they are added to the sitemap by means of an alternate link in that page's <url>. Support for listing images in the sitemap on a page-by-page basis and using a sitemap stylesheet are also added. Example when using the built-in multi-language profile: <url> <loc>http://domain.local/about/</loc> <lastmod>2017-08-27T16:16:32+02:00</lastmod> <xhtml:link rel="alternate" hreflang="en" href="http://domain.local/en/about/"/> <xhtml:link rel="alternate" hreflang="de" href="http://domain.local/de/uber/"/> <xhtml:link rel="alternate" hreflang="fi" href="http://domain.local/fi/tietoja/"/> </url> It also uses a locally maintained fork of a sitemap package by Matthew Davies that assists in automating the process. The doesn't use the same sitemap_ignore field available in MarkupSitemapXML. Rather, it renders sitemap options fields in a Page's Settings tab. One of the fields is for excluding a Page from the sitemap, and another is for excluding its children. You can assign which templates get these config fields in the module's configuration (much like you would with MarkupSEO). Note that the two exclusion options are mutually exclusive at this point as there may be cases where you don't want to show a parent page, but only its children. Whilst unorthodox, I'm leaving the flexibility there. (The home page cannot be excluded from the sitemap, so the applicable exclusion fields won't be available there.) As of December 2017, you can also exclude templates from sitemap access altogether, whilst retaining their settings if previously configured. Sitemap also allows you to include images for each page at the template level, and you can disable image output at the page level. The module allows you to set the priority on a per-page basis (it's optional and will not be included if not set). Lastly, a stylesheet option has also been added. You can use the default one (enabled by default), or set your own. Note that if the module is uninstalled, any saved data on a per-page basis is removed. The same thing happens for a specific page when it is deleted after having been trashed.

  7. I've been pondering on this for a while now. GL has a much bigger feature-set than GH, and allows private repos for free. Much of the work I do doesn't warrant the use of many of the features, but there are a couple of other thinks I like, like sub-groups and, of course, private repos. Curious to know who in the PW community is actively using it, other than Bernhard, and what everyone thinks about it. I'm thinking of switching, and am currently testing everything out. I think my biggest concern is that folks use GH more than GL, and so opening issues on my repos would require a GL account, which some may not want to do...

  8. Just in case someone else arrives in this thread, this is now implemented in Batch Child Editor: https://processwire.com/talk/topic/6102-batch-child-editor/?do=findComment&comment=149975

  9. hi everybody, since some weeks it seems that my attachment size is shrinking and shrinking. ATM i have only 1,52MB left and that's not enough if i want to share simple licecap screencasts. i sent @Pete a message but he hasn't read it yet. i also tagged him in another post and got no reply. is it only me having this problem? it's quite frustrating to invest time helping others here and not having the proper tools. i had to upload the gifs on my own server and paste them into the post. if anything changes that will lead to 404s - not the best for nobody. thanks.

  10. Hi everyone, For those of you running the core SessionHandlerDB module, I just committed an experimental fix for the problem of the "Redirect" bar not showing. The redirect bar can be very handy in debugging many things that may otherwise be lost when there is a redirect, so it's been a real shame for those who haven't had it all this time. I discussed the approach of my fix with Ryan and long time ago (I was hoping he might include it in the core) and this was his response to me: Basically what the fix does is when a $session->redirect is called, it now makes the header() call before closing down ProcessPageView. The current PW core behavior is to close it down before the redirect. I don't think it should be an issue for your sites to use this new version because it only makes this change if: 1) SessionHandlerDB is installed 2) The debug bar is enabled #2 in particular means that regular users won't be impacted by this at all - only users with Tracy permission (typically just superusers). However if you notice any problems at all, just add this line to your config.php file to disable it. $config->disableTracySHDBRedirectFix = true; And, of course let me know if you have problems so I can revisit my decision on incorporating this fix.

  15. Hi @Mike Rockett, i knew that "trick". But i don't want my default language urls (german/de) look like: sample.de/de/contact, or is there any option to remove that url segment of the default language in the url when having a default language name in "Home > Settings"? EDIT: Ah forget it, i just updated the module to version 0.20 and saw "ISO code for default language"

  16. You prefer it to bootstrap 4? I had a bad time trying to get uikit into my node/gulp workflow. I only wanted the sass and BS4 is pretty simple to integrate with npm and compile only the parts I need + custom sass on top of that. I haven't used any JS from these frameworks yet. Seems uikit is popular around these parts though.

  17. Hello @bernhard, it seems like there is a global limit for attachments of 50 MB per user. You can see your space under Profile => My Attachments. For example I have currently 40 MB left. Maybe the limit could be set higher by @Pete or maybe it is the default of IP.board. I am not sure. Regards, Andreas

  18. Do we really need a new PW.com theme? Think the new admin theme update will be a great help and a dedicated store for modules will help if we can make that happen. Think the current PW is fine for now, with other lower lying fruit.

  19. I has been pointed out by Ryan that he did not change the default "skin" (aka theme) of UIkit on purpose, he ask for our help in this. We all agree that it is washed out and should not be the one used. Also, I think there are too much white space all around and admin pages need less of it and need more actual GUI elements fitted in the visible viewport. It is "an admin" after all and no one wants to scroll a lot. Still, whitespace is important of course but the right balance must be found.

  20. These are just demos and often running the default skin. I think Ryan has mentioned a few times he's keen to stress that they're not design proposals.

  21. Thanks again @Robin S. I think i'll go with the Profield. As i understand, it should also be frontend editable via a modal. This way i have the best editing experience and at the same time i support the Development of Processwire. Thanks @all for your help.
