The Textareas Fieldtype and Inputfield lets you combine multiple named text fields into a single field. This can help to reduce the quantity of fields necessary in your ProcessWire installation, especially when you have several fields that all have the same requrements. For instance, if you needed 10 textarea fields that each represented some different data, but all had the same input requirements, then you could convert all of those to 1 Textareas field. Textareas is part of the ProcessWire ProFields package available from the ProcessWire Store. Read more about Textareas and watch a screencast.

“Indeed, if ProcessWire can be considered as a CMS in its own right, it also offers all the advantages of a CMF (Content Management Framework). Unlike other solutions, the programmer is not forced to follow the proposed model and can integrate his/her ways of doing things.” —Guy Verville, Spiria Digital Inc.
