This latest version of the core adds a lot of useful new options for affecting the appearance of inputs in the Uikit admin theme. This version also adds a handy new config setting to disable HTTPS requirements in dev/staging environments. More

For starters, we've added drag-and-drop (and paste) image upload support to our richtext editor (CKEditor), which is really handy.
