$sanitizer->alpha() method

Sanitize to ASCII alpha (a-z A-Z)

Usage

// basic usage
$string = $sanitizer->alpha(string $value);

// usage with all arguments
$string = $sanitizer->alpha(string $value, $beautify = false, int $maxLength = 1024);

Arguments

valuestring

Value to sanitize

beautify (optional)bool, int

Whether to beautify (See Sanitizer::translate option too)

maxLength (optional)int

Maximum length of returned value (default=1024)
