Hi,
I'm trying to do the simple thing of adding an editor with the ability to edit, delete, move, sort and add pages. There are permissions for the first four but using an editor account I can't seem to add pages.

What am I missing?

PS: I just realised that all I can do is View the pages. So, even though I have added the above permissions to the role, when I log in as an editor they are not available!

Have you changed the access permissions on the templates themselves?

Just like you have to assign a role to a user, you also have to assign the role to a template. Only then can those permissions be exercised. So you've got half of the connection (assigning role to user) and now you need to do the other half (assigning role to one or more templates).

In order to give you finer control, the template also lets you toggle on/off a few editor related permissions for roles that have page-edit permission.
