The American Commerce Center is a supertall skyscraper approved for construction in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At 1,510 feet (460 m) tall with 63 floors, the building would dominate the Philadelphia skyline, standing over 500 ft (150 m) taller than Philadelphia's current tallest building, the recently completed Comcast Center.

The One Liberty Place Building was formerly the tallest and is currently the second tallest building and skyscraper in the City of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, after the Comcast Center. It is the 19th tallest building in the United States. Completed in 1987, One Liberty Place has 61 floors and is 945 ft (288 m) tall, only two feet (0.6 m) shorter than the Key Tower in Cleveland, Ohio.

Originally called One Pennsylvania Plaza when the building was first announced in 2001, the Comcast Center went through two redesigns before construction began in 2005. Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Philadelphia is a proposed skyscraper in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The tower itself will soar at 670 ft with 58 floors, which it'll be located on 1441 Chestnut St. Waldorf Astoria Philadelphia plans to complete this project by the year of 2012. This hotel will be a property of the developing Waldorf=Astoria Collection, a luxury chain of hotels and resorts, owned by Hilton Hotels Corporation.

Two Liberty Place is the third tallest skyscraper in Philadelphia, and the 33rd tallest in the United States, stretching 58 floors to 848 ft (258m). The tower was completed in 1990. Two Liberty Place is the smaller sister building to nearby One Liberty Place. Both buildings were designed by Helmut Jahn of Murphy/Jahn Architects. Two Liberty Place has two entrances to The Shops at Liberty Place, an enclosed upscale shopping mall attached to the complex.

The Bell Atlantic Tower is a 53 story high-rise located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Height to structural top is 739 ft (225 m) with construction being completed in 1991. The building encloses 1,300,000 square feet (121,000 m) of office space. The building was designed by the Philadelphia-based architecture firm Kling Lindquist. A city ordinance declared that no building within 250 feet (76 m) of the nearby Benjamin Franklin Parkway can rise higher than 250 feet (76 m).

BNY Mellon Center is a 54-story skyscraper located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The height to its structural top is 792 ft (241 m). Construction was completed in 1990. The building was formerly called Mellon Bank Center until 2009, when it was renamed as part of a branding initiative for the newly formed Bank of New York Mellon. The building was designed by the architectural firm of Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and is owned by HRPT Properties Trust.

The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton is a luxury residential skyscraper in Center City in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At 518 feet (158 m), the 48-story skyscraper is the tenth-tallest building in Philadelphia, and the tallest residential tower in the city. The building was erected on the former site of One Meridian Plaza which was seriously damaged by a deadly fire in 1991. One Meridian Plaza was demolished in 1999 and the property was sold by E/R Partners to the Arden Group the next year.

The St. James is a luxury residential skyscraper in Washington Square West, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. The 498 feet (152 m), 45-story high-rise stands along Walnut Street and Washington Square and is the 12th tallest building in Philadelphia. The Chicago-style, glass-and-concrete skyscraper incorporated into its design several historic 19th-century buildings that lined Walnut Street.

The G. Fred DiBona Jr. Building, formerly known as the Blue Cross-Blue Shield Tower or IBX Tower, is a skyscraper in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania housing the headquarters of Independence Blue Cross (the Blue Cross-Blue Shield affiliated organization in the five-county Philadelphia area). The tower was built between 1988 and 1990 and was designed by WZMH Architects, who also designed the CN Tower in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
