Carnegie 57 is a 75-story skyscraper currently under-construction in New York City. Upon completion in 2013 it will stand at 306 meters (1005 feet) tall, making it one of the tallest buildings in the city. The mixed use tower is developed by the Extell Development Company. Foundation work started in January 2010, and it´s currently the second tallest tower in New York under-construction, surpassed only by One World Trade Center (541 meters, 1776 feet).

The Beekman Place Tower is an architecturally unique, mixed-use tower that is under construction on Manhattan Island in New York City, New York. The tower, designed by architect Frank Gehry, is set to rise 76 stories and be 876 feet (267 meters) tall. Construction began on the tower in 2006 and the building is set to open in 2010.

The Chrysler Building is an Art Deco skyscraper in New York City, located on the east side of Manhattan in the Turtle Bay area at the intersection of 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue. Standing at 319 metres (1,047 ft), it was the world's tallest building for 11 months before it was surpassed by the Empire State Building in 1931.

Two World Trade Center, also known by its street address, 200 Greenwich Street, is a new office building approved for construction as part of the World Trade Center reconstruction in New York City. When completed, the tower will be located on the east side of Greenwich Street, across the street from the original location of the Twin Towers that were destroyed during the September 11, 2001 attacks. The 79-story building was designed by Foster and Partners, London.

1 New York Place was a supertall skyscraper that was proposed in 2002 to rise 1,050 feet (320 m) tall and have 90 floors. The tower was supposed to be located in New York City's financial district at Broadway and Fulton Street, but the project was canceled. The tower was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and projected to cost USD $680 million. It would have had 1.3 million square feet (121,000 square meter) of floor space.

The Empire State Building is a 102-story landmark Art Deco skyscraper in New York City at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street. Its name is derived from the nickname for the state of New York, The Empire State. It stood as the world's tallest building for more than forty years, from its completion in 1931 until construction of the World Trade Center's North Tower was completed in 1972.

One World Trade Center, also known by its nickname and former name Freedom Tower, is the main building of the new World Trade Center under construction, expected to be completed in 2013, in Lower Manhattan in New York City, USA. The tower will be located in the northwest corner of the 16-acre (65,000 m²) World Trade Center site bounded by Vesey, West, Washington and Fulton streets.

The World Trade Center (WTC) was a complex of seven buildings in Lower Manhattan in New York City that were destroyed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The site is currently being rebuilt with six new skyscrapers and a memorial to the casualties of the attacks. The original World Trade Center was designed by Minoru Yamasaki in the early 1960s using a tube-frame structural design for the twin 110-story towers.

Hudson Place is a proposed plaza of skyscrapers that will be part of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The Plaza will consist of 16 skyscrapers. The main tower will be called Hudson Place Tower II and will be 1,300 ft (400 m) tall. The complex will cover an area of 15.4 acres (62,322 m) on the western side of Manhattan Island next to the West Chelsea Promenade (Manhattan), which will allow stores and open markets in the plaza.
