The structure contains 33 floors of office space, standing as the 29th-tallest building in the city. The building is adjacent to Thanks-Giving Square and connected to the Dallas Pedestrian Network. The building was designed in 1961 by architects Harwood K.

Originally an office building, today it is part of the First Baptist Church of Dallas campus. Originally planned as an 8-story structure, construction began in 1945 on a square site at the corner of Federal Street and North Ervay Street.

The top floor of San Jacinto Tower was the fictional location of the Oil Barons Club - an exclusive restaurant and lounge on the TV series Dallas.

100 North Central Expressway is a mid-rise Class B skyscraper located on the eastern edge of the Main Street District of downtown Dallas, Texas (USA). The 12 story office building, located between Main Street and Elm Street along North Central Expressway, was announced in 1958 as the new home for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. During construction in 1958 a stack of steel beams tumbled sixty feet to the basement level, killing one worker and injury two others.

The Renaissance Hotel currently stands as the 24th-tallest building in the city. The architect who designed the building was Dahl Braden Chapman. The Renaissance Dallas Hotel holds the world's second largest free-standing chandelier in the world. The spiral chandelier, located in the hotel's lobby, rises 3 stories in height.

It is the seventh tallest building in the city, at 655 feet (200 m) and has fifty floors. It was the second tallest in the city when is was completed in 1983, trailing only Renaissance Tower. The land on which 1700 Pacific sits was once two triangular blocks separated by Live Oak Street.
