About One M & T Plaza

One M & T Plaza is a high-rise building located in Buffalo, NY, United States. It is the sixth tallest building in Buffalo, standing 317 feet (97 meters) and 21 stories tall. It was completed in 1966. The building is the corporate headquarters for M&T Bank. Designed by the same architect as the former World Trade Center, Minoru Yamasaki, the building shares many similarities with the former iconic twin towers. There is a band at the top of the building that is illuminated at night with colors for each holiday. During the ice hockey play-off season, the band is illuminated blue and gold for the Buffalo Sabres.
